To determine the current alignment of student learning outcomes (the knowledge, skills, and abilities that students learn in the classroom) and industry expectations, Applied Learning Science has been collecting data from 13 different California Community Colleges. On June 26, 2019 Applied Learning Science hosted an interactive 2-hour session to organize and prioritize student learning outcomes for the 5 key courses under Agricultural Business: Introduction to Agricultural Business, Accounting, Economics, Computer Applications, and Sales and Communication. During this session, over 20 high school teachers and professors attended the 2019 California Agricultural Teachers’ Association.
This project is focused on determining the current alignment between Agricultural Business student learning outcomes and the industry expectations for individuals with this degree.
